    Brian Ludwigsen, International Sales & Distribution

    Brian oversees the end to end business with international broadcast, B2B and producer clients, building strategic relationships to increase visibility of the ASD brand, and bring Indigenous content to the mainstream.

    Brian represents ASD at major international events, including Mipcom, Banff, HotDocs, Realscreen and WCSFP. He has participated in industry sessions on international distribution at markets and festivals including the Whistler Film Festival, DOC BC/YT/NWT and the Indigenous Film Summit, and is always keen to meet with Indigenous creatives and producers with finished or early stage projects in all genres of scripted and factual.

    Prior to joining ASD, Brian worked with Indigenous communities across Canada as a specialist in First Nations consultation, stakeholder engagement, socio-economic assessment, and community development. He has extensive experience working with Indigenous communities, Industry and Government Agencies in developing and strengthening long term, mutually beneficial relationships, and is excited to apply those skills to creating the same ecosystem for Indigenous Media globally. Brian is a proud Ojibway from Fort William First Nation.
