Beyond The Veil is a 6 part scripted anthology, showcasing a collection of dramatic and diverse supernatural thrillers from Māori, Pasifika and Filipino storytellers in Aotearoa. In “INTO THE MIST” a teenage girl is caught between family and loyalty in two worlds; “TAPPY” tells the story of a displaced young man who embarks on a strange road trip to fetch a body; “TAUMANU” is a supernatural thriller of twin spirits and revenge set in 1929 colonial New Zealand; “GIVING UP THE GHOST” is the story of a quiet history teacher faced with evicting his spirited flatmate ; in “ALBULARYO” a young doctor is forced to heal old wounds and confront her witch of a grandmother; and “26:29” tells the haunting tale of a group of young vloggers who break into an abandoned Sāmoan church and disappear.
